Kenneth Crews, Director of the Copyright Advisory Office at Columbia University, outlines the issues he will be reading for when the revised Google Book settlement is submitted on November 9, including privacy and orphan works. He also links to several new essays on the settlement written by others in the copyright field. Pamela Sameulson's response is titled The Google Book Settlement: Real Magic or a Trick?.
